Dr. Christopher Ioan was born and raised in Lincolnton, NC. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC in 2009. From there he moved to South Florida and received his master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in 2017. He then received his doctoral degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021. While in dental school, Dr. Ioan was awarded the Dwight Clark Memorial Award. This is the highest award presented by the Spurgeon Dental Society for sensitivity to the needs of patients and classmates. 

Dr. Ioan, his wife Kelli, their 3-year-old son Hudson, and their 6-month-old daughter Madelyn reside in Clemmons, NC. He met his wife while attending school at Appalachian State and were married in 2014. When out of the office, Dr. Ioan enjoys spending time hiking with his family, golfing, hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Dr. Ioan is a member of the American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Winston-Salem Spear Study Club.
